Suppached Sasomsin is one of Thailand’s most respected and pioneering viticultural experts, currently serving as the Chief Winemaker at Siam Winery, the nation's leading producer and distributor of wine and beverages.

His foundation began with a First Honor in Biochemistry from Kasetsart University. Inspired by a trip to France, he secured a prestigious European Union grant for a specialised Master's degree in Viticulture and Winemaking from three elite institutions: École Supérieur d’Agriculture D’Anger (France), Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy), and Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Spain). His global experience also includes an internship with Inter-Rhone in Southern France and roles in diverse regions such as New Zealand's Marlborough, French Languedoc and German Pfalz.

Mr. Suppached has masterfully translated this global expertise into practical application in Thailand’s unique tropical climate. Under his technical leadership at Siam Winery, he oversees the entire production process, from vineyard management to final blending. He is widely credited with developing innovative techniques tailored to the monsoon cycle, ensuring the consistent quality and distinct character of the winery’s award-winning portfolio, including the renowned Monsoon Valley wines.

Mr. Suppached is a passionate advocate for the quality and potential of Thai New Latitude wines, offering invaluable insights into local production capabilities and the future trajectory of Asian wine consumption.
